We have been on the road for nearly a week, our intrepid group of KDFC claasical fans.
Today we finished up Krakow and are heading to Prague tomorrow. Along the way we have heard the history and visited some of Poland’s most treasured sites,enjoyed glorious live music of Chopin, Bach, gypsy, Klezmer and more. The only challenge has been the weather – rain and cold most of the time, but with travel comes the unexpected. The Polish people are proud of their past and do so much to keep alive their collective accomplishmnets and celebrate their heroes – Chopin, Copernicus, Marie Curie (born Maria Skłodowska in Warsaw) and many more.

If you have not left Prague yet, I suggest that you visit the old Jewish Cemetery.
Not only is the cemetery interesting, you will enjoy the best view of Prague!
When I was there in 1968, a girl lit the gas lamps every evening and extinguished them at 5 every morning. I also stuffed myself with Beluga caviar at every meal.

Hoyt, glad to see you are having a great time. You looked cool vidiocasting from Warsaw under a unbrella. Hope you had sunnier weather in Prague and Paris. You know we had heavy rain on Thursday 05-27-10 in the SF Bay Area. Cheers Percy

Good Morning, Hoyt,
That last piece was lovely! The piano is my favorite instrument since I grew up listening to it, then about ten years ago, started learning to love the violin.
